Notifications Preferences

View Your Notifications

Notifications can be viewed in two ways depending on your chosen layout.

Flow, Simplified, and Mobile Layouts

1. Select your user icon in the bottom-left of the screen.
   1. Notifications will appear as a list in the Notifications widget

Hybrid, Classic, Expanded, and Custom Layouts

1. Select the notifications bell located in the top-right of the screen. 
   1. Notifications will appear as a list in the Notifications widget

Sort Notifications

1. Open the notification widget options
   1. In Simplified, Mobile, and Flex layouts, select the Toggle widget options carrot at the top of the Notifications widget.
   2. In Classic, Expanded, Hybrid, and Custom, select the three-dot menu to the top-right of the Notifications widget
2. Select the desired grouping of notifications
   1. All notifications - will display all notifications from all projects and documents
   2. Project notifications - will filter down to notifications related to the specific project you are currently viewing
   3. Doc notifications - will filter down to notifications related to the specific document you are currently viewing
   4. Unseen notifications - will filter down to the notifications from all projects and documents you have not seen yet

Mark All Notifications as Seen

1. Open the notification widget options
   1. In Simplified, Mobile, and Flex layouts, select the Toggle widget options carrot at the top of the Notifications widget.
   2. In Classic, Expanded, Hybrid, and Custom, select the three-dot menu to the top-right of the Notifications widget
2. Select the desired grouping of notifications
3. Select Mark all as seen

Remove Notifications

Remove a single notification

1. Hover over the notification
2. Select the X over the right-hand corner of the notification

Remove all notifications

1. Open the notification widget options
   1. In Simplified, Mobile, and Flow layouts, select the Toggle widget options carrot at the top of the Notifications widget.
   2. In Classic, Expanded, Hybrid, and Custom, select the three-dot menu to the top-right of the Notifications widget
2. Select the desired grouping of notifications
3. Select Remove all

Change Notifications Preferences

1. Select Customize > Notifications
2. Check/uncheck the boxes for each notification type as desired
   
   1. Read-only collaborators do not receive notifications about comments and join updates.

Types of Notifications

The preferences you see below are set by default.

Email Notifications

When receiving several notifications on a project in succession, these are bundled together to reduce the number of separate emails received.

These preferences override the Default Preferences.

App Notifications

Flyin notifications appear in the top left of the display. Disable flyin also applies to in-app save notifications.
