Writer Duet is the most intuitive, most user-friendly scriptwriting software I’ve ever used. And it’s truly amazing to be able to write and share screens with one, two, or many different people at once. Plus — and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this — every time I’ve had a suggestion or run into a problem, they’ve been incredibly responsive and have fixed and/or integrated solutions immediately. I wish I’d had this earlier in my career.
Ed Solomon (Men in Black, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Now You See Me)
I started using Writer Duet so I could collaborate with a friend across country. But I've been so impressed with it that I have started using it for some solo projects as well. The continual auto-saving and the versioning feel very 21st century. But the line-by-line rewind feature is the true killer app. I used to make a "garbage file" to hold discarded snippets of dialogue in case I needed them back. Now I don't have to. The app saves my whole thought process for me. On top of that, these guys are iterating the app so fast, they're running circles around the industry leader. Writer Duet definitely feels like the future.
Andy Bobrow (Community, Malcolm in the Middle, Last Man on Earth)
I adore WriterDuet. It has honestly transformed the way I write with my partner, now as well as our scheduled work, we can grab time whenever we want. No more shlepping across the country away from our families! It is an amazing and exciting software to use, so simple and so effective. Thank you WriterDuet.
Andy Nyman (British screenwriter and actor)
Writer Duet helped me escape Final Draft. Being web-based gives me the flexibility to write anywhere on any system. And I never have to worry about crashes and lost hours of work ever again. ... I recommend it to every other screenwriter I meet.
Christopher Ford (Robot & Frank, Cop Car)
This industry is all about relationships, but sometimes you have to know when to break up. Final Draft is our horrible ex ... And for years you’re like, "it’s fine, I guess" but you knew you were settling. And then you meet WriterDuet and the collaboration element is a dream come true and now you've moved in together. This analogy went off the rails before we even started, but do yourself a favor and use WriterDuet.
