You've created a good amount of your script, received feedback, and made edits. Now you are ready to keep some content as is while you work on other portions of the script. This Read-Only feature will help you make sure that you and any collaborators don't accidentally alter that important part of the script.

Make Text Read-Only
Select all of the text your wish to affect.
Select Format > Read-Only
To make text editable again, select the desired text and select Format > Read-Only
