Rename a Character
Editor says that Harry is an unoriginal name for a British protagonist? Producer says it's time for a gender swap? Easily change a character's name everywhere it occurs in the script. Even in Action lines!
For quick access to this feature, add it to your Tools widget.
Rename a Character
- Select Tools > Rename Character
- Open the name drop-down and select the character name you want to change
- Type the new name
- Select Submit
- The change will apply to every character line and for every instance the name is used in dialogue, action, scene lines, etc.
