Organize Projects with Folders

What does it do?

Tired of the clutter? Create folders and organize your portfolio with ease. Even share folders of work with collaborators. 


Create a Folder

You can create folders in the main portfolio and inside existing folders. 

  1. Open the Portfolio
  2. Select New Folder from the bottom menu options
  3. Name the folder
  4. Press Enter


Add Projects to Folders

This behavior works for projects and other folders.

  1. Click and hold the desired project
  2. Drag the project and hover it over the desired folder
  3. Release the project to drop it into the folder


Remove Projects from Folders

This behavior also works for projects and subfolders (folders within folders).

  1. Click and hold the desired project
  2. Drag the project and hover it over the desired location listed at the top of the portfolio
    1. My Portfolio
    2. [Parent] folder
  3. Release the project to drop it into the location


Share a Folder

  1. Right-click on the desired folder
  2. Select Invite
  3. Select the + to the right of Collaborators or Shareable link
  4. As needed, edit the permissions for each of the projects in the folder
  5. Add the collaborator(s) email(s) or click to copy the shareable link
  6. Select Send Invites


Export a Folder

You can export the entire portfolio or a specific folder. The folder will export as a .zip file. All projects will be WriterDuet file format (.wdz).

  1. Open the Portfolio
    1. As needed, open the desired folder
  2. Select Export Folder from the bottom menu options
