Export Specific Pages or Scenes - Pro Feature

What does it do?

Only need to export a couple of pages or scenes? Easily export a PDF of exactly what you need.

Export Specific Pages

  1. Select File > Export 
  2. Change File Type to PDF
  3. Select Specific Pages under PDF Options
  4. Under Page numbers, enter the page(s) you would like to export
    1. Use a dash between numbers for sections of pages (i.e. 2-5)
    2. Use commas to separate pages that are not consecutive (i.e. 3, 6, 8)
  5. As needed, move the Title Page to Do Not Include to remove it from the export
  6. Select Export


Export Specific Scenes

  1. Ensure numbering is enabled for Scene lines.
  2. Select File > Export  
  3. Change File Type to PDF
  4. Select Specific Scenes under PDF Options
  5. Below Scene numbers, enter the scene(s) you would like to export
    1. Use a dash between numbers for sections of scenes (i.e. 2-5)
    2. Use commas to separate scenes that are not consecutive (i.e. 3, 6, 8)
  6. As needed, check or uncheck the box for Preserve page numbers - this will keep the scenes on their respective pages.
    1. For example, if you are exporting scenes 1 & 3 and scene 3 appears on page 4, the PDF will export with scene 1 on the first page and scene 3 will be on a separate page rather than following just below scene 1.
  7. As needed, move the Title Page to Do Not Include to remove it from the export
  8. Select Export
